Pedal Power Galway

Pedal Power Galway offers sociable, pedal-powered tours of Galway City, Salthill and beyond. Founded by Paul Murray after winning GMIT’s Startup Weekend, the company now runs four pedibuses; two 15‑seaters and two 6‑seaters, for everything from pub crawls to corporate team‑building and hen parties. Their previous site lacked the energy and clarity needed to showcase tours and convert bookings.

Our approach

• Vibrant design: We created a lively, modern interface that mirrors the fun of pedalling with friends. The homepage headline invites visitors to “Experience Galway by Bike”, and the site uses bold imagery and clear typography.
• Structured content: New sections – Tours, Plan Your Visit, Explore Galway and Blog – guide users through tour options, pricing, pick‑up points, FAQs and local recommendations.
• Easy booking & contact: Prominent “Book Now” buttons and an accessible contact form encourage enquiries, while FAQs explain how the pedal-powered bikes work and what to expect.
• Performance & accessibility: The site is fully responsive and WCAG‑compliant, with optimised load times and improved accessibility for video content.
• Flexible CMS: We integrated a CMS back‑end so the Pedal Power team can update tours, map routes and news with ease.

Outcome
The new branding and website capture the local spirit and unique selling points of Pedal Power Galway, sociable bikes, group experiences and a deep connection to Galway’s culture. It makes planning a tour easy and fun, encouraging visitors to book their pedal adventure and explore the city like never before.
