START Competition

START Competition

We had the pleasure of working with the START Competition, an initiative by the Health Research Board – Trials Methodology Research Network (HRB-TMRN), aimed at encouraging young students to engage with science by creating their own randomised clinical trials.

The START Competition aligns with International Clinical Trials Day on May 20th, which commemorates the first well-documented randomised clinical trial in 1747. Students in 4th, 5th, and 6th classes are invited to recreate their very own trials, using provided resources, and learn the basics of scientific inquiry and critical thinking.

Our team was responsible for website design, development, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring a smooth, user-friendly experience for both students and educators.

Key Features:

  • Responsive website design tailored for easy access on multiple devices.
  • A resource hub for students and teachers, providing guides to run their own trials.
  • Ongoing website maintenance to ensure the platform remains up-to-date and fully functional year-round.

The START Competition is a fantastic way to engage young minds in STEM, fostering critical thinking and inspiring the next generation of scientists. We’re proud to have been part of this meaningful project!
